One thing I have noticed about all the surrounding horror and activity at Newtown and not much been said about it. It is the calm Professional way Lt Vance has handled The Worlds Press at the Briefings. He has been straightforward, clear, balanced, open, available,  and honest. I believe much of the - overall - direction and handling from the Media is due to his handling of the Press Conferences.

Not the most earth shattering oservation anyone can make amongst this horror, I am well aware. But amongst the horror and chaos, he has provided a calm anchor point of sanity in an insane scenario, dragging people back to calm reality, and deserves the appropriate plaudits and recognition. I hope in due course, once its all over, he gets the recognition he deserves ... Kudos to him.
